About

During the late fifties college-age kids and a few hip adults were reviving old-time, traditional music. This became a movement. During this time not only were musicians who were long thought to be dead being rediscovered, but their followers were now taking up the cause and creating their own songs in those styles. I took some of my favorite songs from some of my favorite players and arranged them here for you. These songs are but a small part of what was being played in those days and I hope you'll have as much fun learning them as I had to put them together for you, with variations thrown in of course!! Not only will you learn the following songs, I'll also show you how to add all kinds of variations to them. In doing so you'll learn how to be a more creative guitarist. Here are the songs you'll learn: Bottle Of Wine - Tom Paxton Don't Think Twice, It's Alright - Bob Dylan My Creole Bell - Mississippi John Hurt Green Green Rocky Road - Dave Van Ronk Moving To Kansas City - Brownie McGee Here's the video describing this set of lessons: https://youtu.be/7NpL84tIJL0 Level 3 All of my lessons on this website can be accessed through my very affordable subscription plans.
