MORE Master Class!
Here are some of the tunes I usually end my shows with, as they always seem to raise the roof with the audience. While learning these songs you'll not only be raising your own playing level, but also have have three show-stopping pieces to add to your repertoire!
BONUS - I start this course with a video in which I tell you all the ways you can work through each piece, starting from working through each measure, memorizing it, applying the metronome and finally connecting it to the next measure. I use these techniques anytime I'm learning a new piece, and I truly think they will help you out!!
In 'Irish Fiddle Medley,' you'll learn how to add a moving bass line to fiddle melodies, making the tune come alive with a smooth, natural flow.
'St. Louis Tickle' was one of the very first old time jazzy piano pieces arranged for the guitar back in the early sixties by the late Dave Van Ronk. Here you'll see how to spice up a simple jazz progression with interesting licks.
Finally, the 'Dallas Rag' - a truly fun ragtime piece - has one of the most interesting moving bass lines to be played under a catchy melody. I've even added a second part to it which I believe you'll have a lot of fun learning and playing!
