This song was taught to me from Etta Baker while I was visiting her at her home in Morganton, North Carolina. She taught me quite a few songs, but this one was my favorite. Here you'll use the alternating bass technique while playing an independent melody on top, which was so characteristic of the Piedmont playing style she as famous for.
